Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a reliable General Worker / Helper to support day-to-day operations in our engineering workshop and at project sites. You will assist skilled technicians, handle materials, and travel to outstations for installations and engineering projects as required.

Fresh candidates are welcome. Willingness to rotate night shifts and travel are expected; prior experience in engineering environments is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / High School completion or equivalent.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual duties.
• Punctual, safety-conscious and eager to learn on the job.
• Willing to travel outstation for projects.
• Willing to work rotating night shifts if required.
• Fresh candidates are welcome; prior engineering/manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Worker / Helper to support day-to-day operations in our engineering workshop and at various project sites. In this role, you will assist skilled technicians, handle materials, and travel outstation for site installations and engineering projects as required. (Foreign workers can apply as well)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Fitters, Machinists, and Welders with tool prep, material holding, and machinery setup.
• Move, load, and unload raw materials, heavy equipment, and finished parts.
• Clean, deburr, grind, and prepare metals and parts for production or assembly.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness, organize tools, and enforce daily 5S safety standards.
• Perform routine manual tasks, packing, and basic maintenance duties as directed by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM / High School completion or equivalent.
• Physically fit and comfortable performing manual labor and lifting heavy loads.
• Punctual, safety-conscious, and ready to learn technical skills on the job.
• Willing to travel outstation for projects.
• Willing to rotational night shift if required.
• Previous experience in an engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing environment is an advantage (fresh candidates are welcome to apply).
