Job summary

Curtin University Malaysia in Miri seeks an Associate Teaching Fellow to support General Studies (MPU) teaching at undergraduate and diploma levels. You will deliver lectures, tutorials and learning activities, develop materials, assess student work and contribute to curriculum quality and community engagement initiatives.

The role emphasizes teaching-focused duties with collaboration across the department and the use of digital tools to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, Arts, Law or related field.
Ability to teach effectively in higher education.
Knowledge of Digital Entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship, digital business, innovation or related areas.
Experience with community engagement, service learning or stakeholder engagement.
Previous MPU/General Studies teaching in Malaysian higher education.

Responsibilities

Teach and facilitate MPU units at undergraduate and/or diploma level.
Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops and other learning activities.
Develop and maintain teaching and learning materials.
Assess student work and provide feedback within timelines.
Coordinate and administer MPU units as required.
Provide academic guidance and consultation to students.
Contribute to curriculum review and quality assurance activities.
Utilise digital technologies to enhance learning and engagement.
Contribute to Digital Entrepreneurship teaching activities.
