Job summary

The role requires MMC registration and APC, with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team to provide preventive care and education to patients.

Qualifications

• Recognised medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent).
• Valid registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Possess the relevant qualifications and experience required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical consultations, physical examinations, and patient assessments.
• Diagnose medical conditions and prescribe appropriate treatment and medication.
• Provide primary healthcare services, preventive care, and health education.
• Monitor patients' medical conditions and arrange referrals when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records and documentation.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate initial management.
• Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Participate in occupational health services and workplace medical programmes, where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with MOH regulations and medical practice requirements.
