Job summary

Klinik Anda Padang Serai in Padang Serai, Kedah, is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join as a full-time doctor delivering primary healthcare to our community.

As a GP, you will conduct consultations, diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, manage chronic disease, maintain medical records, and collaborate with the team to provide compassionate, patient-centred care.

Registration with MMC is required, fluency in Malay, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified medical degree recognised by the regulatory body
• Current registration and valid practising licence with MMC or equivalent
• Proven experience as a General Practitioner or in primary care settings
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to diagnose common conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Malay; other local languages advantageous

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical consultations and examinations of patients presenting with various health concerns
• Diagnose medical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Prescribe medications and other therapeutic interventions in accordance with best practice guidelines
• Perform routine clinical procedures and minor surgical interventions as required
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide health education and preventative care advice to patients to promote wellness and disease prevention
• Refer patients to specialists or hospital services when necessary and coordinate their ongoing care
• Managing chronic diseases and conducting regular follow-up appointments with patients
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
• Adhering to all clinical protocols, infection control procedures and medical ethics standards
