Job summary

General Practitioner/Medical Officer (Immediate vacancy)

Bliss Clinic is seeking a dedicated Medical Officer / General Practitioner (GP) to join our healthcare team in Simpang Ampat, Penang.

Key responsibilities

Provide professional medical consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients

Conduct appropriate physical examinations and medical assessments

Prescribe medications and provide appropriate treatment in accordance with professional standards

Perform minor procedures where appropriately trained and authorised

Provide preventive healthcare, health screening and patient education

Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records

Refer patients to hospitals or specialists where medically necessary

Ensure proper follow up and continuity of patient care

Work collaboratively with clinic assistants, nurses, and other healthcare personnel

Comply with applicable medical, professional, legal, and regulatory requirements

About you

Recognised medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)

Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)

Possess a valid annual practising certificate (APC)

At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience is preferred

Experience in general practice/primary healthcare is an advantage
