Royal Selangor Club in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced senior leader to direct all Club operations, drive revenue, and ensure financial sustainability. The role requires developing annual budgets, forecasts and business plans while maintaining high member service standards.
You will oversee multiple departments including F&B, Events, Sports & Recreation, Administration, Housekeeping and Security, guiding department heads to optimise staffing and productivity.
Provide overall leadership and direction for all Club operations.
Drive revenue, financial sustainability and effective cost control.
Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts and business plans.
Ensure consistently high standards of member service and satisfaction.
Develop and maintain an effective membership recruitment and retention plan, with measurable annual targets.
Oversee Membership Services, Administration, F&B, Sports & Recreation, Events, Housekeeping, Facilities/Maintenance, Security and other Club operations.
Lead, motivate and develop department heads and employees while maintaining appropriate staffing and productivity levels.
Drive F&B, events, facilities and other revenue-generating opportunities.
Ensure Club facilities are properly maintained and capital expenditure is effectively managed.
Maintain full compliance with licensing, health, safety, fire and other regulatory requirements.
Operate in alignment with the RSC Constitution and ensure strict adherence to all Club policies, financial controls, procurement procedures and approval processes.
Establish clear departmental KPIs and provide regular performance reports to the General Committee (GC).
Manage member complaints and operational issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
Minimum 8-10 years' hospitality, club or related management experience, including senior management experience.
Strong financial, commercial and operational management capabilities.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and improve organisational performance.
Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Degree/Diploma in Hospitality, Business Management or a related field preferred.
Experience managing a major members' club, resort, leisure facility or similar multi-facility operation is highly desirable.
