Job summary

Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu, is seeking a General Ledger Supervisor to maintain and reconcile ledger accounts, post journal entries, and support month-end closings. The role requires a diploma or degree in accounting/finance with 2–5 years' experience, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Based in Sabah, you will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accurate financial reporting, adherence to standards, and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in general ledger, accounting, or financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting systems.
• A proactive, positive, and collaborative team player.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet reporting deadlines within the required timeframe.
• Willingness to work on weekends or public holidays when required, particularly during month-end or year-end closing periods.
• Malaysian citizenship is required by local immigration policies.
