Job summary

Shangri-La Rasa Ria in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, is seeking a General Ledger Supervisor to join our finance team and uphold the integrity of financial records. You will maintain and reconcile ledger accounts, post timely journal entries, and support month-end and year-end closing processes.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance and 2–5 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel skills and proficiency in accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in general ledger, accounting, or financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work on weekends or public holidays during month-end/year-end closing periods.
• Malaysian citizens only due to local immigration policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
