Job summary

Accenture is seeking a General Ledger Accountant in Malaysia to develop and maintain GL operations and financial reporting. You will coordinate with AP, AR, and Treasury, handle R2R processes, journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy for monthly and quarterly closes.

The role involves IFRS17 support and finance transformation initiatives. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in accounting, strong English and Thai skills, and advanced Excel and SAP experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years of accounting experience.
• Fluent in English; Thai language skills are a plus.
• Proficient with Excel and SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex bank reconciliations aligning SAP GL with bank records.
• Substantiate sub-ledgers (AR, AP, FA) against GL control accounts.
• Prepare and post recurring journals, accruals, prepayments, and adjusting entries in SAP.
• Support BS reconciliation for Blackline and review BS reconciliations.
• Issue and post journal vouchers for adjustments and reclassifications; monitor items.
• Assist monthly/quarterly close for US GAAP financial statements and regulatory reports.
