Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a backend developer with strong Java and AI capabilities to design, develop and optimize scalable services built on Java, Spring Cloud, Kafka and PostgreSQL. You will independently build AIAgent modules, contribute to design decisions, code reviews and production readiness.

The role requires 5+ years of development experience, 2+ years in AI, and a degree in CS/IT, with strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication. Malaysian work authorization is a must.

Qualifications

• 2+ years AI development experience; able to independently develop Agents.
• More than 5 years of development experience.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, IT or related majors.
• Fluent in speaking, reading and writing in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Malaysian local candidate with valid local working status in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and optimize backend services using Java, Spring Cloud, Kafka and PostgreSQL.
• Independently design and implement AIAgent modules, complete feature coding, debugging, unit testing and iterative optimization of Agent-related capabilities.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical solution design, code review, troubleshooting of online issues, and ensure system stability, performance and maintainability.
• Cooperate with product, test and overseas technical teams and translate business requirements into technical implementation solutions.
• Write technical design documents, API documents and development notes; refactor code and promote technical best practices.

Participate in requirement analysis, technical solution design, code review, troubleshooting of online issues, and ensure system stability, performance and maintainability

Cooperate with product, test and overseas technical teams, translate business requirements into technical implementation solutions, and regularly report development progress

Write technical design documents, API documents and development notes; continuously refactor existing codes and promote technical best practices within the team

Support problem investigation, bug fixing and version release during system testing and production go-live phases

About you

Proficient in Java Spring Cloud, Kafka, PostgreSQL

2+ years of AI development experience, capable of independently developing Agents

More than 5 years of development experience

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or other IT-related majors

Fluent in speaking, reading and writing in Englishand and Bahasa Malaysia

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proactive attitude, strong teamwork and collaboration spirit, high enthusiasm for work

Good problem-solving capability, able to take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver on schedule

Must be a Malaysian local candidate with valid local working status in Malaysia
