Job summary

Genpact in Malaysia is seeking an RTR Executive to support month-end close, intercompany activities, and fixed asset accounting within a dynamic SSC environment.

The role emphasizes RTR experience, strong analytical skills, and Mandarin as an added advantage; ACCA/CA qualifications are preferred. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and IFRS compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journals to close the books at month end.
• Perform month end closing tasks and reporting per defined timeline.
• Handle intercompany billings, confirmations, payments, and reconciliations.
• Conduct daily/weekly bank reconciliations and align with AP/AR.
• Record fixed assets, depreciation, IFRS 16 lease accounting, and accruals.
• Prepare financial and management reports; maintain SLA/KPIs.

Inviting applications for the role of RTR Executive

As the RTR Accountant you will be mainly responsible in preparing monthly journals based on a defined list or as directed to close the books at month end.

• Prepare monthly accounts analysis of Balance Sheet items and ensure proper reclassification and balances is valid.
• Perform month end closing tasks and reporting per defined timeline.

Intercompany

• Perform intercompany billings and accounting based on defined list, procedure or when directed.
• Perform monthly intercompany confirmation with other entities.
• Perform payment and reconciliation.

Cash Management

• Daily / weekly bank reconciliation of in and out of bank transactions against AP and AR transactions.
• Align with AP and AR specialists for any discrepancy between bank statement and AP & AR transactions.

Fixed Asset Accounting

• Perform accounting for fixed assets registration, movements, and month end depreciation.
• IFRS 16 lease accounting registration, movements, and month end interest rate calculation.
• Perform month-end-closing activities (Revenue & Expense Accrual and Reversal / Manual Journal Entry)
• Perform various tasks related to accounting, reporting including investigation, resolution, and escalation of issues in a timely manner.
• Preparation of financial report and management report.
• Working knowledge of VAT, GST, CIT, and etc
• Adherence and maintenance of SLA & KPI on weekly basis.

Qualifications we seek in you!

• Must have relevant experiences in RTR accounting
• Able to speak and write in Mandarin will be an added advantage
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting. (ACCA & CA)
• Audit experience (preferred) and/or commercial background, Share Service Centers (SSC).
• Good analytical skills
