Job summary

Lavu Tech Solutions in Kuala Lumpur seeks a skilled cloud and backend engineer to design and build scalable serverless applications on AWS. You will leverage services like Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and ECS to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires strong Node.js/React/TypeScript experience, familiarity with GenAI tooling, Terraform, CI/CD, and a solid grounding in networking, security groups, and VPCs. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Know-how of AWS stacks and services; familiar with other cloud providers.
• Experience building applications using AWS services: Connect, S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, EC2, Lambda, AppSync, Kinesis, Lex, Polly, Transcribe, ECS, EKS, ECR.
• Experience on building Serverless Architecture solutions using Docker, Lambda, ECS, EKS, etc. and Microservice Architecture.
• Familiar with networking: VPC, Ingress, Egress, Security Group, Load Balancer.
• Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect or similar are a plus.
• In depth experience with Node.js, ReactJS, NextJS, Typescript, MERN stacks.
• Knowledge about WebRTC is a plus.
• Experience with GenAI tools (LangChain, LangGraph) is a plus.
• Experience with Google ADK is a strong plus.
• Text-to-Speech / Speech-to-Text / Speech-to-Speech is a plus.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB.
• CI/CD tooling such as BitBucket pipelines.
• Unit Testing tools such as Jest/Playwright/Cypress.
• IaC Terraform.
• Git and branching models (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
• Agile/Lean with Confluence/JIRA/SharePoint.
