Job summary

Great Eastern is seeking a senior software engineer to contribute to the Channel and Data AI development team in Kuala Lumpur. You will design and implement web and mobile applications, lead API development, and drive cloud-native solutions with Spring Boot/Java 17.

Collaborate across teams on architecture, CI/CD, and GenAI integrations. You will mentor junior developers, participate in SIT/UAT testing, and ensure robust deployments with modern frameworks like micro frontends and microservices.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of web and mobile app development experience.
• Strong Java 17, Spring Boot, REST APIs exposure.
• Experience with micro frontends and microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to web/mobile app architecture and design.
• Lead development and deployment of cloud-native apps with Spring Boot/Java 17.
• Build and maintain Restful APIs and batch jobs.
