Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Malaysia is seeking an intermediate level maintenance technician to operate, plan and conduct preventive/corrective maintenance on gas turbine generating and related equipment.

You will start/stop, monitor and adjust equipment, document status, and support planned maintenance scheduling with materials and resources. The role requires 3-5 years of industrial experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and solid safety training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years related industrial experience, formal certification, military exp. or equivalent.
• Meets physical requirements for position.
• Complete and maintain required safety training & “Authorized Employee” qualifications.
• Complete and maintain required technical training and qualifications.
• Possess intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, plan and conduct preventive/corrective maintenance on gas turbine generating, compression, and ancillary equipment.
• Start/stop, monitor, and adjust equipment and document status.
• Perform analysis and troubleshooting on equipment as required.
• Support planned maintenance scheduling, materials, and resources.
• Maintain daily work logs and CMMS records.
• Ensure safety and compliance with HSE policies.
