Job summary

UNHCR Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur is offering an internship to support the Donor Care & Development (DCD) team. You will help develop donor communications for online and offline channels, assist with event planning, and contribute to campaigns aimed at engaging and retaining donors.

The role requires English language proficiency (B2), proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, and familiarity with Canva. The internship is full-time with a 40-hour work week and offers an allowance to offset living costs.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or current student in a university programme.
• Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies.
• Not exhausted the maximum internship period (8 months full-time or 12 months part-time).
• First Language English at B2 level.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Familiar with Canva for media design.

Responsibilities

• Produce online and/or offline donor communication materials.
• Research and develop donor communication materials via media library and UNHCR platforms.
• Manage and analyse donor communication engagement across channels.
• Coordinate with outsourced vendors (printing, mailing, creative services).
• Update reports from donor communication platforms (e.g., Selligent).
• Plan and execute donor events.
• Analyse and consolidate donor data from external and internal platforms.
• Manage donor enquiries when required.
• Perform other related duties.
