Job summary

Citi in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking an Officer, Fund Accounting Analyst 2 – C10 for a role that supports daily NAV calculations and fund valuation in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team.

You will help prepare financial statements, support tax reporting and regulatory filings, and serve as a Senior Checker for complex tasks. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and exposure to Citi’s global funds platform.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• Project Management certification preferred.
• Experience in accounting, finance, or business-related area.
• Experience in fund administration, change management, and/or project management.
• Knowledge of financial operations.
• Demonstrates clear written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor NAV calculations and fund activity timeliness and accuracy.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, tax reporting, and regulatory filings.
• Serve as the Senior Checker for complex tasks.
• Review aging break items and thresholds.
• Track delivery for client accounts.
• Assist the team manager with audit and risk-related items.
• Provide backup support to team coordinator or manager.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, policies and ethics.
