Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications across frontend and backend. The successful candidate will collaborate with Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Project Managers.

Key responsibilities include building RESTful APIs, microservices, and responsive frontends, while ensuring code quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• 3–6 years of professional full stack development experience.
• Strong SDLC and agile/Scrum knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with enterprise applications preferred.
• Experience in regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications.
• Develop responsive frontend interfaces and backend services.

• Perform unit and integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

We are looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test, integrate, and maintain scalable web applications. The successful candidate will work across both frontend and backend development, collaborating with Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and business logic.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and databases.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Work closely with QA teams to investigate and resolve defects.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on application deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Prepare technical documentation and support application maintenance activities.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Frontend Skills

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as:
• React.js
• Angular
• Vue.js
• Good understanding of frontend architecture and component-based development.
• Experience integrating REST APIs.
• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Strong experience with at least one backend programming language, such as:
• C# / .NET
• Node.js
• Python
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and software design principles.
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is an advantage.

Tools & Technologies

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a development team.
• Experience working on enterprise applications is preferred.
• Experience in banking, financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries is an advantage
