About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate Pendidikan Islam Teacher to join our academic team. In this role, you will play an important part in nurturing students' Islamic knowledge, strengthening their understanding of Islamic values, and guiding their spiritual and moral development within a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Pendidikan Islam lessons tailored to students' age groups and learning abilities.

Teach Islamic fundamentals, including Akidah, Ibadah, Akhlak, Sirah, and Quranic studies, according to the school's curriculum.

Develop interactive teaching materials, activities, and lesson plans to encourage active participation and meaningful learning.

Assess and monitor students' academic progress, providing constructive feedback and additional support where needed.

Foster good manners, positive behaviour, discipline, and the practice of Islamic values in daily school life.

Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that supports students' learning and development.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, coursework, assessments, and behavioural progress.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' academic progress, conduct, and wellbeing.

Collaborate with teaching staff, department heads, and school management to enhance teaching practices and participate in school events and Islamic celebrations.

About you

Proficient in spoken and written Bahasa Melayu, with a good command of English.

Possess relevant qualifications in Islamic Education, Pendidikan Islam, or a related field.

1-3 years of teaching experience in a school, tuition centre, or educational institution is preferred.

Good knowledge of Islamic teachings, Quranic studies, and age-appropriate Islamic education.

Strong classroom management skills with a patient, creative, and student-centred teaching approach.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.

Passionate about nurturing students' Islamic understanding, character, and moral development.
