The successful candidate will teach IT subjects at tertiary level, supervise laboratories, assess student work and contribute to curriculum development while staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field; Master's preferred.
• 3–5 years of professional IT experience.
• Experience teaching IT at tertiary level.
• Strong knowledge in programming, databases, networks, systems analysis or software development.
• Excellent communication and ability to design student-centered learning.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver IT curriculum aligned with industry standards and outcomes.
• Conduct lectures, tutorials and practical labs across IT subjects.
• Prepare and maintain course materials, notes, exercises and assessments.
• Assess student learning through exams, assignments and projects with feedback.
• Supervise students in IT labs and develop hands-on skills.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Participate in curriculum review and institutional initiatives.
• Mentor students and provide academic guidance and pastoral support.
• Contribute to departmental activities and responsibilities.
