Job summary

SLB, a global technology company, is hiring a software engineer to turn requirements into scalable server-side services and responsive web front ends. The role requires 3+ years of experience and a degree in Computer Science/IT, with proficiency in Java, PHP, Python, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

Candidates will work with Tomcat, MySQL/MSSQL/MongoDB, and modern frameworks (Spring, Laravel, AngularJS, NodeJS, D3.js). English language skills are required, and teamwork is essential for success at SLB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• 3+ years working experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java, PHP, Python, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
• Experience with server-side development and relational/non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with Spring/Laravel, AngularJS/NodeJS, D3.js and Jasper Report is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with subject matter experts to clarify requirements.
• Turn requirements and user stories into functionality.
• Develop server-side services to be elastically scalable and secure by design.
• Develop web front end to be usable on multiple form factors.
• Ensure the solution is deployable, operable and secure by default.
• Apply usability procedures and principles as defined at project level.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent, 3+ years working experience.
• Programming Skills: Java, PHP, Python, Javascript, CSS, HTML
• Server: Apache Tomcat
• Database: MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB
• Experience in Spring Framework, Laravel Framework, AngularJS, NodeJS, D3.js, and Jasper Report will be an added advantage
• Language Skills (Written/Oral): English
• Willing to learn and innovative, good at teamwork.
