Job summary

Mesiniaga Berhad is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Java to design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications for clients across sectors. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs and align with digital transformation goals.

You will work through requirement analysis, coding, testing, and documentation, with a focus on clean, scalable code and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 to above years related experience in software development.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, ChatGPT API, Tabnine).
• Experience in XML, EJB, XML, Struts, Spring, Hibernate is a plus.
• Optional is WebSphere, WebLogic, Oracle, DB2.
• Familiar with layered application framework.
• Basic understanding of how Web applications work e.g. session management.
