Goldbox Technologies Limited in Malaysia is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver end-to-end features for IoT and AI-powered applications. You will work on backend services, databases, and secure APIs while building responsive frontend pages with component-driven design.

The role requires at least 1 year of web/app development experience, familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, Linux tooling, and testing frameworks.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or higher in CS, IT or related discipline.
• 1 year+ experience in web or application development, frontend or backend.
• Knowledge of relational DBs (PostgreSQL/MySQL), RESTful APIs and Git.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, Linux tools and testing frameworks preferred.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or above in Computer Science, IT or related discipline
• At least 1 year of experience in web or application development, with strength in either frontend or backend
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), RESTful API design and Git
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, basic Linux deployment and testing tools (e.g., Jest, Playwright, PyTest, Postman) is preferred
• Experience with Agent Workflow development paradigms is an advantage
• Prior work in Smart City Management, Municipal Landscape & Parks, Tree Asset & Risk Management, Urban Greening or Forestry Information Systems is a plus

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Responsible for full-stack feature development, from requirements to production delivery
• Design and implement backend business logic, database models and API endpoints
• Build user-friendly frontend pages with component-driven principles
• Handle edge cases and security, including authentication/authorization, input validation and exception handling
• Maintain, troubleshoot and improve existing software applications
• Self-test and write unit, API integration or end-to-end tests to ensure delivery quality
