Bukku Accounting is seeking a passionate software developer to help advance Bukku products. You will implement features across frontend web (Next.js), backend APIs (Laravel and Python), and mobile apps (React Native).

Qualifications

Solid experience with modern web frameworks/libraries (Next.js and Laravel preferred).
Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
Strong MySQL query experience.
Basic Unix/Linux command line and server administration.
Experience building and scaling apps with thousands of DAU.
Experience with TDD and unit testing.
Good UX sense and aesthetic.
Contributions to open-source projects.
PHP 8+ (Laravel 8+).
Python.
MySQL 8+.
Ubuntu 22.04.

Responsibilities

Develop new features and enhance Bukku products across frontend web app (Next.js), RESTful API & microservices (Laravel, Python), and mobile app (React Native).
Build reusable components and libraries for future use.
Translate specifications and wireframes into high-quality code.
Participate in Scrum events and collaborate with the Scrum team.
