Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust banking applications using Java Spring Boot and React.js. You will own features end-to-end, from API design to UI implementation, in an agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in full‑stack development, strong databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL), and a collaborative mindset to work with architects, product owners, and QA to deliver secure, scalable software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and React.js.
• Proficiency in database technologies (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL).

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and React.js.
• Architecture & Design: Collaborate with architects and product owners to define scalable and modular system designs.
• API Development: Build and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring performance, security, and maintainability.
• UI/UX Integration: Translate wireframes and design prototypes into responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools like JUnit.
• Code Reviews & Mentorship: Participate in peer reviews and support junior developers through technical guidance.
• Agile Delivery: Contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery in Agile environments.
