Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a backend-focused software engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend services. You will work with Node.js for core APIs and develop Python-based automation tools, collaborating with frontend, product, and DevOps teams.

Candidates should have 1-4 years of professional software development experience, knowledge of REST APIs, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and basic cloud familiarity. Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Python for backend services or automation.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Understanding of REST APIs, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and microservices concepts.
• Experience with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.

Responsibilities
