TIME dotCom Berhad is seeking a versatile software engineer to join an engineering team that tackles high-value problems across frontend, backend, cloud, internal tooling, and AI.

You’ll own problems end-to-end, from understanding the business need to deployment, working across UI, API, infra, and AI. The role rewards initiative, shipping impact, and continuous learning in a small, high-ownership environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a technical field with coding ability.
• Solid full-stack mindset and ability to work across UI, API, and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript with willingness to learn Go.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, git, and modern web development workflows.
• Cloud concepts (AWS preferred) or strong willingness to learn.
• Effective English communication, written and spoken.
• Self-directed with proactive problem-solving and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack solutions to solve real business problems.
• Write production-quality code in TypeScript, Go, and Python.
• Own problems end-to-end from problem discovery through deployment and monitoring.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards.
• Build AI-powered solutions including LLM integrations and data pipelines.
• Prototype and validate ideas, deciding when to ship or shelve.
• Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to translate requirements into tech.
• Contribute to internal frameworks and tooling across the engineering org.
• Define standardized templates, CI/CD patterns, observability, and automation.
• Ensure frameworks meet real-world needs and are adopted.
• Communicate technical decisions clearly to technical and non-technical teammates.
• Work effectively in a small team with initiative and openness.
