Job summary

TBMC Development Sdn. Bhd. in Sabah invites a diligent accounting professional to manage the full set of accounts, including GL, AP, AR, and cash book, and to post journal entries for accruals and depreciation.

You will maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts, process supplier and customer transactions, perform monthly bank reconciliations, and assist in audits, tax, and compliance, contributing to timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience (auditing is a plus).
• Strong understanding of full-set accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including GL, AP, AR, and cash book.
• Record and post journal entries for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and adjustments.
• Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, and AP aging.
• Issue invoices, credit notes, and monitor AR aging; follow up on overdue payments.
• Prepare full set financial statements and monthly management reports.
• Maintain fixed asset register, depreciation, and asset capitalization.
• Assist in audits, tax compliance, and statutory reporting; support process improvements and ad-hoc tasks.
