Job summary

Michael Page International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Customs Preferential and FTA Executive in Selangor to manage customs procedures and optimise FTA benefits within the industrial and manufacturing sector.

You will collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure compliance, document controls, and data reporting, while coordinating with authorities to maximise cost savings.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and Free Trade Agreements.
• Experience in procurement or supply chain operations within industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in analysing data and generating reports.
• Effective communication and coordination with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure compliance with customs preferential rules and regulations.
• Optimise the utilisation of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) for cost savings and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather required documentation for customs declarations.
• Monitor and update FTA-related certifications and approvals.
• Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on customs and FTA requirements.
• Collaborate with external authorities to address customs-related issues.
• Analyse and report on customs and FTA-related data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support supply chain and procurement teams in navigating trade and customs regulations.
