Job summary

Prokhas Sdn Bhd is building and supporting government IT web applications to improve public sector workflows and decision making. You will join a cross-functional team with product managers, engineers, designers and stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions.

As a frontend engineer, you will craft production-grade features in TypeScript using modern frameworks like React, ensure clean UI components, and collaborate to align backend APIs with frontend needs while upholding

Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping production-grade frontend applications.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React).
• Solid understanding of component-based architecture, state management, and data fetching patterns.
• Experience integrating with APIs and handling real-world concerns (loading states, errors, edge cases).
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Cares deeply about code quality, testing, and maintainable UI architecture.
• Comfortable working closely with designers and backend engineers to deliver cohesive features.
• Able to work in a team that values discussion, ownership, and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain user-facing features using TypeScript and modern frameworks (e.g. React).
• Translate requirements into clean, reusable UI components.
• Integrate frontend with backend services for smooth data flow and UX.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on API design and data contracts.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices.
• Write automated tests (unit/integration) to ensure frontend reliability.
• Contribute to shared UI patterns, frontend architecture, and code quality standards.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and production support.
