Aleph is seeking a Frontend Engineer specializing in ReactJS to build robust, scalable UI components and interfaces. You will collaborate across design, backend, and product teams to deliver high-quality, responsive web experiences from conception to deployment.

You should have strong JavaScript and React knowledge, plus experience crafting progressive web and mobile-friendly interfaces. This role is based in Kuala Lumpur, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic, creative team.

Qualifications

• Min 3 years of frontend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of ReactJS and modern JS (ES6+).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and modern web apps.
• Solid HTML5 and CSS3 skills with responsive design.
• Familiarity with React workflows (Flux/Redux) is a plus.
• Experience with version control (Git) and build tools (Gulp/Grunt).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Role description

We are looking for a frontend engineer who is proficient with ReactJS. Your primary focus will be developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known ReactJS workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important. As a React.js Developer, you will be involved from conception to completion with projects that are technologically sound and aesthetically impressive.

To ensure success as a ReactJS developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of JavaScript and React concepts, excellent front-end coding skills, and a good understanding of progressive web and mobile applications.

Key responsibilites

• Developing the latest user-facing features using React
• Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following React workflows
• Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes
• Designing a modern highly responsive web-based user interface
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Learn and understand user interactions
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Coordinating with various teams working on distinct layers
• Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications
• Reviewing application requirements and interface designs

Prerequisites

• Front end developer with min 3 years of experience
• Working knowledge of ReactJS
• Understanding of ReactJS, Flux architecture
• Strong HTML 5 skills, should be able to use appropriate hooks in XHTML to limit the amount of classes and ID's required on a page
• Strong basics of Javascript Good understanding of CSS/CSS3 inheritance and how to use it to your advantage
• Making pixel perfect UI that meet the design requirements
• Knowledge of JS module system
• Good in Gulp, Grunt, Git version control system
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
• Eager to learn new technologies with self-effort
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge and experience with JavaScript Testing libraries (e.g. table, grid, jasmine, etc.)
