REPORTS TO:

Room Division Supervisor
(In the absence of Room Division Supervisor, he/she will report to the Guest Service Manager.)

BASIC FUNCTION:

To assist guests efficiently, courteously and professionally in all room division related functions. To maintain Quality Standard of Service, hospitality, and promote teamwork at all times.
Maintain cleanliness in hotel premises and adhere to the OSHA standard and Emergency Procedure.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To handle check‑in process, registration and room assignment, accommodating special requests whenever possible and assist in pre‑registration and blocking of reservation when necessary.
  • Handle guest information and take responsibilities in guest complaints and follow through.
  • Handle issuance of safe deposit boxes and cash deposit collection in accordance with handling of cash transaction.
  • To issue Deposit/Credit Voucher / Deposit/Credit print slip upon collection of cash from guest and post to the system accordingly.
  • All passover cash must be recorded on pass over logbook and acknowledge after cash count.
  • All shortage of cash must be paid immediately and excess of cash is to hand over to Guest Service Manager.
  • Have good knowledge of:
    • Accounting standard procedure and to report to superior for any dispute
    • Hotel rate, packages, discount and apply when necessary
    • Operating procedure of all related Management systems
    • Various types of rooms available, respective floors and layout
    • Hotel facilities and resort facilities
    • Reservation procedure and Uniform Services
