Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced FPV Drone Systems Specialist / UAV Development Engineer to design, develop, integrate, test, and optimise custom drone and UAV platforms.

The role covers hardware selection, programming, configuration, flight testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation to drive reliable operation and continuous improvement; experience with Betaflight, INAV and ArduPilot is valued.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of FPV drone development and UAV integration.
• Experience designing, building, configuring, tuning, and troubleshooting custom FPV drones.
• Knowledge of UAV systems, flight controllers, propulsion, and telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Design, assemble, integrate and test custom FPV drone systems.
• Develop and optimise UAV platforms for various applications.
• Configure Betaflight, INAV and ArduPilot; firmware, CLI, ESC, GPS, telemetry.
• Perform mechanical and electrical integration, wiring, testing, maintenance.
• Conduct performance analysis: thrust-to-weight, COG, vibration, PID tuning.
• Configure FPV comms: ExpressLRS, Crossfire, antennas, video systems.
• Develop engineering docs, procedures and technical standards.
• Provide training on FPV UAV development and operation.
