Job summary

Etika Group of Companies in Malaysia is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) / AM to lead planning, forecasting, and financial insight generation. You will drive budgeting, performance reviews, and governance across AOP, MTP, and intercompany reporting, while mentoring the FP&A team.

Strong Excel/PowerPoint and PMO exposure are essential to support strategic decisions. The role requires 7–8 years in accounting/finance with 2–3 years in FP&A, in trading, manufacturing, or FMCG

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or a professional qualification such as ACCA, MICPA, or CIMA (or equivalent).
• 7–8 years of experience in accounting and finance functions, including at least 2–3 years in FP&A, preferably within trading, manufacturing, or FMCG industries.
• Strong business acumen with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Highly meticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven experience in project management; PMO exposure is an added advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate and manage annual budgeting process with cross-functional inputs.
• Provide financial insights on KPIs and performance drivers for senior management.
• Support month-end close, with commentary on key metrics (net sales, GP, OP, BEP, ROIC, CCC).
• Lead development of AOP and 3-year MTP plans.
• Review P&L projections for new product launches and assess financial viability.
• Participate in TP analyses and ensure compliance.
• Provide ad hoc analytical support for pricing and scenario analysis.
• Support local and international entities accounting reporting in line with group policies.
