Job summary

Damai Service Hospital (HQ) in Kuala Lumpur is seeking diligent kitchen helpers to assist cooks with meal preparation, serve meals to patients, and maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen environment in accordance with food safety standards.

The role involves preparing meal trays according to diet menus, clearing and washing dishes, organizing and labeling stock, and supporting the kitchen team with vegetable preparation and other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Helping Cook in preparing the trays for meals for patients according to the diet menu.
• Serving the meals to the patients at the wards according to the menu and diet sets by the cook.
• Collecting the empty trays, cutlery, plates and cups after each meals period is over.
• Perform cleaning and washing for all the kitchen utensils, cutlery items, plates, cup and etc.
• Ensuring all the kitchen utensils, cutlery items, plates, cup and etc are kept properly, clean and hygiene.
• Helping Cook to prepare meals such as washing and cleaning, slicing the vegetables and etc.
• To assist cook in organizing, labelling and storing all wet and dry stocks according to food safety standards.
