Job summary

Lotus’s Malaysia is seeking a detail‑oriented Science graduate to assist the Technical Manager in safeguarding the quality of Lotus’s own brand products. The role involves supplier collaboration, audit follow‑up, root cause investigations, packaging review, and product shelf life management.

You will support surveillance of own brand products, drive improvement, and help implement New Product Development and product relaunch projects within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Study Science or Science related discipline, preferably Food Science and Food Technology.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, communicate effectively, attention to details with analytical mind set.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with demonstrated flexibility and adaptability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
• High energy, positive attitude, proactive and possess commercial acumen.
• Willing to travel with Technical Manager occasionally.

Responsibilities

• To support Technical Manager in working with qualified suppliers to deliver safe, legal and good quality Lotus’s own brand products.
• Assist in monitoring supplier compliance, work closely with suppliers to follow up audit non-conformances within targeted timeline.
• To support Technical Manager in investigating customer complaints and crisis management, ensuring corrective and sustainable preventive action in placed at suppliers’ sites.
• To assist Technical Manager in reviewing and approving technical information on own brand product packaging as well as product shelf life.
• To support Technical Manager in managing the surveillance of own brand products.
• Drive innovation and improvement in product quality, assist in delivering New Product Development plan, Product Relaunch, and Project of Import/ Export within agreed timeline.
• To conduct data analysis on supplier and product performance.
• To plan, organise and prepare sample testing session effectively and efficiently.
• Prepare and distribute samples for internal and external customer for evaluation. Analyse the customer feedback result.
• Submit monthly KPI on timely manner and ensure all technical data in trackers are up-to date.
• To update work in progress weekly and to complete all assigned tasks by line manager within timeline.
