Job summary

Bayou Lagoon Park Resort in Ayer Keroh, Melaka, seeks an experienced F&B professional to assist the F&B Manager in daily operations and ensure high service standards across coffee house, dining rooms, and buffets. The role requires strong leadership, customer focus, and the ability to train staff while maintaining sanitation and quality.

The successful candidate will coordinate closely with other departments, uphold company policies, and be willing to work long hours and reside in Melaka.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist F&B Manager for daily operation of the F&B Department.
• In-charge of day-to-day operation of the assigned section under F&B.
• Ensure service standards in coffee house, dining rooms, buffets and outlets per company policy.
• Maintain sections organized and compliant with company standards.
• Inspect F&B areas for sanitation and quality per MOH guidelines.
• Implement F&B policies and procedures for employees and processes.
• Set an example for the F&B department’s conduct and service quality.
• Coordinate with other departments and foster good relations onboard.
• Provide training and familiarization for staff; support teamwork.
• Willing to work long hours and reside in Melaka.
• Perform other duties as requested by the company.

• Assist Food & Beverage Manager for the daily operation of Food & Beverage Department.
• In-charge and Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the assigned section under Food & Beverage Department, aboard the ship according to companys instructions as directed by the Food & Beverage Manager.
• Responsible for the standards of service delivered to the customers in the coffee house, dining rooms, buffets and all other food & beverage outlets by F&B employees. He has to ensure the quality of services in accordance with the company standard.
• Ensure that all F&B sections under your responsibilities are organized, performed their duties and maintain their areas and equipment in a manner in compliance with the company policy.
• Ensure that all F&B areas are inspected in a timely manner and are in compliance with companys standards by checking for quality.
• Maintains the highest level of sanitation throughout all food and beverage areas as prescribed by MOH.
• Responsible for the overall implements, consumptions of all F&B polices and procedures pertaining to employees, work manuals, sanitation requirements, consumptions, costs, qualities, menues, special parties and others.
• Sets an example for the entire F&B department by always displaying impeccable behaviour.
• Maintain a smooth interaction with other departments and well received among the employees.
• Assist those employees in the F&B department who are need, ensure that all cremembers in your department receive a complete familiarization and training for their positions when signing on.
• Creating a high level of moral within the F&B department, developing a good working relation with all others onboard departments, through cooperating and communication.
• Willing to work long hours and locate in Melaka.
• Perform other duties which are requested by the company from time to time.

Requirements:

• Preferably Executive specializing in Hotel Food & Beverage
• Minimum Diploma with 2 years’ experience.
• Customer oriented with strong leadership skill
• Good interpersonal & communication skill
• Team player and must be self-motivated & result oriented
• Computer literate and able to work independently
• Committed, dedicated and high job responsibility
