Job summary

Segi Fresh - Retails is hiring a Floor Manager (FM) / Assistant Floor Manager (AFM) to oversee daily store operations in a fast-paced fresh food retail environment.

The role requires leadership to supervise a team, manage stock, merchandising, cash handling, reporting, and ensuring SOP adherence. Weekend and public holiday shifts are required, with competitive monthly pay of RM1,800–RM2,700 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or supermarket operations is an advantage.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Leadership skills and ability to supervise a team.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Responsible, disciplined and committed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth business performance
• Manage receiving of goods and verify quantity and quality from suppliers
• Monitor stock levels including low stock, Out of Stock (OOS), near expiry and expired items
• Conduct stock take, cycle count and stock adjustments when necessary
• Ensure accurate price updates and proper execution of weekly/monthly promotions
• Maintain store layout according to planogram and ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized
• Manage cash handling processes including opening float, closing counter and bank-in procedures
• Prepare and update daily sales and stock reports
• Handle damaged goods, returns and disposal according to company procedures
• Conduct regular floor walk to monitor store condition and staff performance
• Ensure overall store cleanliness and compliance with SOP
