Job summary

SUPER PRESS PRINTING SDN. BHD. is seeking a lead for its Flexo Printing team to drive daily production with a focus on quality and efficiency.

You will set up and operate flexographic presses, monitor ink, colour, and registration, and coordinate with related departments to meet targets. Training and continuous improvement are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading printing production teams.
• Ability to set up and operate flexographic presses.
• Familiarity with ink, plates, colour, and registration control.
• Strong focus on quality, waste reduction and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Flexo Printing team to ensure smooth daily production.
• Set up and operate flexographic printing machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
• Check printing plates, inks, materials, colour, registration and machine settings before production.
• Monitor print quality, machine speed, ink control, registration and wastage during production.
• Troubleshoot printing and machine issues and make necessary adjustments to minimize downtime.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards and delivery schedules are achieved.
• Train, guide and monitor Flexo Printing Operators and Helpers on proper work procedures.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, Maintenance, Planning and Warehouse teams to resolve production issues.
• Monitor and record production output, downtime, rejection and material wastage.
• Ensure proper cleaning, housekeeping and basic maintenance of the printing machine and work area.
• Ensure all employees follow company SOP, safety requirements, ISO 9001 and environmental requirements.
• Report production issues, machine breakdowns, quality problems and manpower issues to the Production Manager.
• Support continuous improvement activities to improve productivity, quality and reduce wastage.
