Job summary

TA LOGISTICS (M) SDN BHD in Port Klang is seeking a logistics coordinator to support daily operations, coordinating planning with foremen and ensuring timely updates. The role involves arranging inspections and managing vehicle compliance tasks.

You will liaise with drivers and suppliers to secure parts, renew licenses, update parking records, and handle documentation for road authorities, insurance, and claims as needed.

Responsibilities

• Check daily work plan with the foreman every morning and evening update.
• Order truck and trailer parts from suppliers.
• Compare prices and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value.
• Arrange and monitor PUSPAKOM inspections.
• Process and renew road tax and insurance for trucks and trailers.
• Update and maintain truck parking records.
• Assist drivers during breakdowns, including after office hours when required.
• Coordinate and resolve truck or trailer issues with drivers and relevant parties.
• Handle documentation and applications related to JPJ and APAD
• Process and follow up on vehicle insurance claims.
