Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an Accounting advisor (Fixed Asset) in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, on a Hybrid basis. The role focuses on fixed asset capitalization, depreciation calculations, FAR maintenance, and CAPEX reporting while ensuring compliance with global accounting policies.

You will reconcile FAR with ledger balances, support audits, and maintain asset records. The ideal candidate has CA Inter or equivalent, 4–6 years in accounting, and experience with SAP.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 4-6 years of accounting and MIS background, generating invoices & credit notes.
• CA Inter (Intermediate Chartered Accountant) preferred.
• Moderate level of experience in a global organization and in financial accounting.

Responsibilities

• Asset capitalization and depreciation calculation in SAP with monthly Capex reporting at global level.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register (FAR) with asset life and related details.
• Reconcile FAR, general ledger and trial balance monthly.
• Create query reports for operating-wise trial balance downloads.
• Review voucher bookings in SAP and ensure proper capitalization of fixed assets.
• Capitalize assets for eligible labor cost and bank interest.
• Maintain Sale Schedule and handle asset disposals and related profit/loss.
• Handle internal and statutory audit queries.
• Reconcile CWIP/AUC ledger; reallocate fixed assets as needed.
• Perform impairment and lease asset accounting.
