Job summary

A global MNC client is seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant II/Senior Fixed Asset Accountant for a hybrid role based in Gurney Paragon, Penang. This role involves reviewing capital expenditures, recording asset activations, conducting monthly depreciation analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA), and at least 4 years of accounting experience. Applicants should be willing to travel to the Kulim manufacturing plant as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in Fixed Asset accounting is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Review Capital Purchase Requisition and capital expenditure.
• Record fixed asset accrual and asset activation timely.
• Run monthly depreciation and perform analysis.
• Liaise with auditors and support shared services activities.
