Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an engineer to lead operators in First Article builds for new products and projects. You will assist in solving technical issues, ensure timely builds, and read engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs. A solid IPC620 understanding and clear customer communication are essential.

The role requires a Bachelor Degree in Engineering and 3–5 years of manufacturing experience; knowledge of cables/connectors is a plus, with data analysis skills and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with BOM usage and work instructions.
• Knowledge of IPC620 and acceptance criteria.
• Good data analysis and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide operators in First Article build for new products/projects.
• Assist and solve technical issues during first article build.
• Ensure product build within specified turn-around time.
• Handle technical communications with customers and suggest best practices.
• Perform engineering changes and update relevant technical documents.
• Maintain correct usage of BOM in system.
