Job summary

Oppstar Berhad is seeking a Firmware Engineer (Development & Verification) to develop, validate and optimize low-level firmware across CPU, GPU, Data Fabric and HSIO. You will participate from pre-silicon development to post-silicon bring-up and validation, ensuring quality throughout the SoC lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of experience in firmware development/verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate and optimize low-level firmware for CPU, GPU, Data Fabric, HSIO.
• Design verification solutions to ensure firmware quality across the SoC lifecycle.
• Collaborate with architects and IP leads to define firmware scope and milestones.
• Provide debug support in emulation, simulation and post-silicon environments.
• Develop automated test cases for firmware components and execute test plans.
