Job summary

Dancomech Engineering in Shah Alam seeks a Senior Finance Manager with 8+ years of experience to lead the Finance Department. The role focuses on month-end closing, group consolidation and Bursa Malaysia reporting, while coordinating with auditors and authorities.

Fluency in English is required; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage. You will drive process improvements, maintain internal controls, and ensure timely financial reporting in a listed-company environment.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and Bursa Malaysia reporting.
• Good command of English; Mandarin advantageous.
• Able to collaborate across levels with strong communication.
• Proactive, organized, meticulous and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Finance Department operations including invoicing, payments and banking.
• Manage month-end closing and prepare monthly management accounts and Bursa Malaysia filings.
• Prepare group consolidation and timely Bursa Malaysia submissions.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and authorities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Coordinate financial reports for Board meetings and strengthen internal controls.

• Prepare group consolidation and ensure timely and accurate Bursa Malaysia submissions.

• Liaise with external and internal auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers and relevant authorities on financial and regulatory matters.

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Prepare and coordinate financial materials and reports for Board meetings.

Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve financial systems, processes and procedures.
