Job summary

Flowserve seeks a Financial Analyst to examine financial data and support business decisions in a manufacturing environment. You will analyze cost, margin, bookings, and monthly reconciliations under US GAAP and local GAAP, ensuring SOX compliance.

You should bring 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills (Pivot, Vlookup), and familiarity with IFRS or US GAAP and ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP. Access knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in a relevant field with 5–7 years of experience.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Working knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and SOX regulations.

Responsibilities

• Cost analysis and reporting of project costing, gross margin analysis, direct charges, and inventory evaluation.
• Review and report proper net backlog values on a monthly basis.
• Run monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and P&L according to US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Maintain SOX compliance with Group Accounting Policies and local regulations.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and annual financial statements.

Job Summary: The Financial Analyst examines financial data and uses their findings to help the company to make business decisions. More specifically, the Financial Analysts research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions along with company fundamentals to make predictions about businesses, sectors, and industries.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Cost Analysis and Reporting: review and analysis of project costing, gross margin analysis, direct charges, inventory evaluation.
• Bookings and Backlog: review and report proper net Backlog values on a monthly basis.
• Monthly reconciliations: balance sheet and P&L in accordance to US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Sox and Audit: maintain Sox compliance with Group Accounting Policies, Statutory Accounting Principles and Legal/Fiscal local regulations.
• Statutory Accounts: support for the Annual Financial Statement preparation

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Extensive Excel 2010 knowledge including advanced functions with Excel required (Pivot tables, Vlook ups, etc)
• Working knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and SOX regulations
• Experience with structured ERP, Oracle or SAP and consolidated reporting systems.
• Experience in manufacturing industry is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access is valuable
• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience
