Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to oversee treasury operations, cash-flow management, banking relationships, financing facilities, working capital and accounting activities. The role requires 10–15 years of relevant experience with strong exposure to Treasury, cash-flow forecasting and liquidity management.

You will lead banking facilities, manage relationships, and provide financial insights to management. ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MIA qualifications are an added advantage.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience with strong exposure to Treasury.
• Proven cash-flow forecasting and liquidity management experience.
• Experience with banking facilities and working capital management.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP/accounting systems.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Willing to work in Telok Gong.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash position, cash flow and liquidity requirements.
• Manage banking relationships, bank accounts and banking facilities.
• Coordinate fund transfers and ensure sufficient cash availability for business operations.
• Monitor and manage working capital, receivables and payables.
• Review and approve payment transactions in accordance with company policies and authorization limits.
• Monitor foreign exchange exposure and other financial risks.
• Prepare treasury reports, cash-flow analysis and financial updates for management.
• Review bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
• Support month-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting and audit activities.
• Strengthen treasury controls, procedures and internal financial controls.
• Identify opportunities to optimize cash utilization, financing costs and banking charges.
• Lead and guide junior accounting/finance personnel where applicable.
