Job summary

AIA Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst and Transformation Consultant to drive automation and AI-enabled finance initiatives that lift FFOW productivity and KPI performance. You will design and deliver finance tech solutions, partner with Technology and Data teams, and lead end-to-end delivery from requirements to benefits realization.

You will translate business needs into actionable roadmaps, collaborate with stakeholders, and promote data-driven decision making through dashboards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance or related field.
• 5–8 years in Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, Process Improvement or Automation.
• Strong experience in requirements analysis, process modelling, solution design, and stakeholder management.
• Experience in delivering automation, AI, analytics, or system implementation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of Finance technology solutions, leveraging AI, automation, analytics, and digital platforms to improve productivity, controls, and user experience.
• Translate business requirements into solution designs, partnering with Technology and Data teams to define functional requirements, process flows, user stories, and implementation roadmaps.
• Own end-to-end solution delivery, including requirements gathering, solution design reviews, UAT coordination, deployment, hypercare support, and benefits realization.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement automation and AI use cases to eliminate manual effort, streamline Finance processes, and enhance decision-making.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology, Data, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
• Drive adoption of data and analytics capabilities, including dashboards, automated reporting, and modern data platforms to enable data-driven decision making.
• Champion change and continuous improvement, ensuring successful implementation, user adoption, and expansion of digital capabilities across Finance.
• Measure and track business outcomes, including productivity gains, process efficiency, control enhancement, cost avoidance, and value realization from technology investments.

About the Role...

Objective is for the successful candidate to act as a business analyst and transformation consultant, where the main responsibility will be on automation and AI-driven initiatives that will meet Finance KPIs on FFOW productivity uplift.

Min Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related disciplines.
• 5-8 years of experience in Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, Process Improvement or Automation.
• Strong experience in requirements analysis, process modelling, solution design, and stakeholder management.
• Experience in delivering automation, AI, analytics, or system implementation projects.

Preferred

• Experience with enterprise AI, automation, or digital transformation programs.
• Knowledge in Finance processes.
