Job summary

Hypernix Sdn Bhd, an award-winning Malaysian ERP and automation consultancy, is seeking a Finance Architect to own the finance solution from CFO discovery through to first month-end close for multi-entity groups.

You will lead a team of consultants, define COA, intercompany structures, and controls, and oversee integration strategies across banks, payroll, billing, and reporting. NetSuite experience is advantageous; strong leadership and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum leadership experience across two full ERP implementations.
• Strong finance knowledge: GL, AP, AR, assets, cash management, reporting.
• Experience with any recognised ERP platform.
• Experience working with senior finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance discovery with CFOs and Group Finance.
• Define chart of accounts, entity structure, accounting policies, internal controls, tax and e-Invoicing, and management reporting.
• Oversee end-to-end finance solution delivery across SIT, UAT, migration and first month-end close; manage defects and change requests with the PM.
• Lead presales solutioning, effort estimation, SOWs and finance demos for C-level executives and manage budgets and staffing.

The opportunity

This is a practice-building role. You will own finance solution architecture from CFO discovery through to a stable first month-end close, for multi-entity groups (20+ entities) with multi-currency, intercompany and consolidation requirements.

You will lead at least five consultants per project and manage two to three projects at different phases, working alongside our PMO.

We welcome strong finance leads from Oracle Fusion, SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Epicor, Acumatica, Sage Intacct and Workday Finance. NetSuite experience is an advantage, not a requirement. We provide structured enablement and design review during your transition.

What you’ll do

Finance Architecture and Advisory

Lead finance discovery with CFOs and Group Finance. Define the chart of accounts, entity structure, accounting policies, internal controls, tax and e-Invoicing, and management reporting.

End-to-End Finance Solution

Recommend standard functionality before customisation. Define the integration strategy for banks, payroll, billing and iPaaS, along with data migration and reporting through Report Builder, SuiteAnalytics and NSAW.

Solution Quality

Review configuration and functional designs, and validate reports, workflows and integrations against agreed requirements.

Own finance workstream delivery across SIT, UAT, migration, cutover rehearsal and first month-end close support. Distinguish defects from new requirements, and manage scope governance, impact assessment and change requests with the PM.

Commercial and Practice Growth

Lead presales solutioning, effort estimation, SOWs and finance demos for C-level executives, and manage workstream budgets, staffing mix and dependencies.

• Experience with any recognised ERP platform
• Confidence working with senior finance stakeholders

Oracle NetSuite experience is an added advantage.
