Job summary

GALAXY NEXUS AI GROUP in Selangor, Malaysia, seeks a Senior Account Executive (GL) to manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including monthly close, AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure compliance with accounting standards, assist with audits and tax submissions, and support inter-company transactions while liaising with auditors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a bachelor's degree / Post-Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite is an added advantage.
• Ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a team.

Location: Uptown Damansara, Selangor, Malaysia

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive (GL) to join our team and oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for monthly account closing, accounts payable and receivable, credit control, reconciliations, financial reporting, and statutory matters.

The role will also involve supporting audit and tax requirements, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full spectrum of accounting function
• Responsible for monthly account closing
• Responsible for end-to-end process of accounts payable/ receivable/ credit control
• Preparation of inter-company reconciliation, bank reconciliation and monthly schedule (e;g fixed assets listing, prepayment, accruals listing & atc)
• Ensure proper maintenance of documentation and filing to support all accounting entries
• Provide assistance in preparing the tax submission report, financial report, analysis and other related report
• Liaise with auditors, banker or any other statutory bodies when required
• Ensuring the accounting records and system are in compliance with the company's policies and relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management

Requirements:

• Must possess at least a certification bachelor’s degree / Post-Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience is required
• A team player with excellent attention to detail, exceptional organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Previous experience with Oracle NetSuite Accounting Software is considered an added advantage
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, work independently and collaboratively within a team
