Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced accounting professional responsible for end-to-end financial processes including accounts payable, budgeting, and month-end close. The role requires strong Excel skills and SAP experience to support accurate reporting and compliance.

You will oversee daily operations, payment processing, and intercompany activities while coordinating with internal teams and auditors to ensure timely, accurate financial information for management decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of progressive financial experience in Manufacturing.
• Strong MS Excel skills for data analytics and presentation.
• SAP system experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily accounting operations with timely processing.
• Post trade payables and reconcile supplier accounts.
• Prepare and monitor payment plans and ensure approvals.
• Review transactions for accuracy and supporting documentation.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor variances.
• Ensure records comply with company policies.
• Oversee month-end closing activities and prepare closing entries.
• Coordinate with departments for timely information for closing.
• Prepare management reports for decision making.
• Coordinate and liaise with auditors as needed.
